Parameters and Selection of Cold Pressed Terminals
- PRODUCT DETAIL
Cold-pressed terminals include electronic connectors and air connectors. It is an accessory product used to realize electrical connection, and it is industrially divided into the category of connectors.
Round pre-insulated terminals, Cold pressed terminal, Power fittings, Fork pre-insulated terminals, Pin-shaped pre-insulated terminals, Chip-shaped pre-insulated terminals, Bullet-shaped fully insulated terminals, Long intermediate joint, Short intermediate joint, Round naked end, Fork-shaped naked end, Male and female pre-insulated terminals, Tube-shaped pre-insulated terminals, Tube-shaped bare end, Needle-shaped naked end, Peep mouth series SC, DTG copper terminal, C45 dedicated terminal.
Insulated terminals are also called cold-pressed terminals, electronic connectors, and air connectors are all classified as cold-pressed terminals. It is an accessory product used to realize electrical connection, and it is industrially divided into the category of connectors. With the increasing degree of industrial automation and stricter and more precise requirements for industrial control, the amount of wiring terminals has gradually increased. With the development of the electronics industry, the scope of use of terminal blocks is increasing, and there are more and more types.
In addition to the PCB terminals, the most widely used terminals include hardware continuous terminals, nut terminals, spring terminals, and so on.
The issuance of DIN 46228 standard in 1990 was another milestone in the history of cold-pressed terminals. This standard mainly focuses on the uniform color arrangement of insulating sleeve rings.
Identification standards for cold-pressed terminals
This standard is equivalent to the international standard IEC455 (1988) "General Rules for the Identification and Application of Alphanumeric System of Equipment Terminals and Specific Wire Ends"
The scope of application of cold-pressed terminals
This standard specifies various methods for identifying electrical equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment) wiring terminals, and formulates general rules for identifying equipment wiring terminals and specific wire ends with an alphanumeric system.
This standard applies to equipment (such as resistors, fuses, relays, contactors, transformers, rotating electrical machines, etc.) and the identification markings of the terminals of the combination of these equipment, as well as the identification of specific wire ends.
When necessary, the detailed application of these general rules to certain products and the necessary auxiliary identification methods can be given in the relevant standards.
Reference standards for cold-pressed terminals
GB 4728 Graphical symbols for electrical diagrams
GB5465 Graphical symbols for electrical equipment
One or more of the following methods can be used to identify equipment terminals and specific wire ends.
1. Use the marking system of the relevant product to determine and identify the actual or relative position of the equipment terminal or specific wire end.
2. Use the marking system of related products to determine and identify the color marking of the equipment terminal and specific wire end.
3. Use the graphic symbols specified in GB5465. If auxiliary symbols are needed, they should be consistent with the graphics in GB4728.
