Good resistance to many solvents
If exposed to a humid and warm environment for a long time, polyurethane based on polyester may be decomposed by microorganisms. However, the polyurethane based on polyester produced by Yichu will not be decomposed by microorganisms. Ether-based polyurethane and lipid-based polyurethane can be distinguished by their saponification value (VZ) category.
Ether polyurethane (resistant)-VZ≤200
Lipid polyurethane (non-resistant) -VZ≥350
If exposed to hot water or tropical climate for a long time, the polyurethane with polyester as the main component will produce a chemical reaction, which will reduce the mechanical strength. Relatively speaking, if you use polyurethane with polyester as the main component, it is more resistant to decomposition.
Ether polyurethane has weather resistance and ozone resistance in various climates. The color may fade under sunlight, but this alone will not affect its performance.
